Will Spalletti Renew His Contract with Juventus?

Spalletti took over Juventus in October 2025, succeeding Croatian Igor Tudor, and the team has shown noticeable improvement since then on both domestic and European levels, although the Bianconeri still occupy the sixth place in the Italian league standings, four points behind fourth-placed Roma.
The newspaper indicated that Spalletti expressed his readiness to sign the new contract, but the final agreement requires more negotiations, pointing out that he requested the club’s management to make at least three major signings, one for each section, in preparation for the new 2026/2027 season. The report confirmed that the agreement between the two parties is not related to salary, but to the club’s long-term future plans and the team’s building strategy.
In previous statements, Spalletti said: ‘I am looking for a football field, players to train, preferably intelligent ones, and this is what I have. If this is the necessary condition, it can be arranged immediately.’
For his part, Giorgio Chiellini, the head of institutional relations at Juventus, confirmed that the club is completely satisfied with Spalletti’s performance: ‘We are very happy with what Spalletti is offering and achieving with the team. Luciano Spalletti is part of Juventus’ present and future. He arrived with great enthusiasm and signed a contract without guarantees because he wanted a personal challenge.’
