The January transfer window has now closed for the majority of top leagues and clubs are have switched their main focus towards identifying targets and figuring out their budgets. The window still remains open for several nations, so deals could still trickle through across the coming days and weeks.

There’s a growing consensus that this will be Mohamed Salah’s last season at Liverpool with reports that his agent has engaged in talks with Saudi Pro League clubs. The Egyptian expressed his unhappiness at being dropped in December and a summer exit could suit all parties.

Tottenham are evaluating a move for Antonio Rüdiger this summer. The German international is out of contract at Real Madrid and there’s been no agreement over a new deal. Rudiger previously played for Chelsea and would be open to a return to London.

Arsenal and Chelsea remain in the race to sign Julián Alvarez this summer. Despite being on a terrible run of form, Alvarez still has a host of clubs chasing his signature but Barcelona remains his preferred destination.
