Tottenham Targets Milan Star

Tottenham Hotspur is planning to make a strong attacking deal during the upcoming summer transfer market by signing Milan star Christian Pulisic, in a move that aligns with the potential return of Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino to take over the team’s management.

According to ‘Calcio Mercato’, Tottenham is in the race to sign Pulisic alongside Manchester United and Arsenal, with Milan ready to consider selling the player for around £48 million next summer.

The report indicated that Tottenham’s management sees Pulisic as a suitable option to enhance the attacking strength on the wings, although most of his appearances this season with Milan have been as a second striker or a false nine, having participated in 20 matches across various competitions.

The 27-year-old American player has significant experience in the English Premier League, having played for Chelsea between 2019 and 2023, successfully winning the UEFA Champions League during that period, which enhances his technical value within Tottenham’s anticipated project.

Pulisic’s name gains additional importance due to his strong relationship with Pochettino, who has previously praised the player, confirming his significant value with the U.S. national team, making the deal technically harmonious if the Argentine coach returns to North London, according to ‘TEAMtalk’.
