Ryan Messi Officially Moves to Saudi League

The French club Strasbourg officially announced the transfer of young striker Ryan Messi to the Saudi club Neom on loan until the end of the season. This move aims to provide the player with a greater opportunity to participate and develop in the Saudi Professional League, as part of the club’s ambitious project to strengthen its ranks with young talents.

Ryan Messi, 18 years old, is considered one of the most promising rising talents in French football. He joined Strasbourg in the summer of 2024, coming from Dijon, but he hasn’t had many opportunities with the first team, despite previously shining in the French Cup where he scored twice and became one of the youngest scorers in the club’s history.

The player has previously played for Pau FC in the French Ligue 2 and represents France’s youth national teams from under-16 to under-19. He is regarded as a promising attacking talent who needs regular playing time to develop his technical and tactical skills.

Ryan Messi is expected to be a significant addition to Neom Club during the second half of the season, as Saudi clubs continue to attract young European talents as part of a long-term strategy to elevate the level of competition and enhance the global presence of the Saudi league.
