The French club officially announced its signing of Zabiri from the Portuguese club Famalicão for an estimated amount of 12 million euros, with a contract lasting three and a half seasons, extending the agreement between the parties until the summer of 2029.
Rennes moved to sign the player following the impressive performances by Zabiri, especially during his participation with the Moroccan national team in the Under-20 World Cup, where he was crowned the tournament’s top scorer and was one of the key contributors to the team’s championship victory.
