Raphinha’s Position on Participating in the Mallorca Clash

The Spanish newspaper ‘Mundo Deportivo’ revealed that Brazilian Raphinha is still absent from Barcelona’s group training, during the training session held by the team this Friday morning at the Joan Gamper Sports City, in preparation for the Mallorca match scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium.

According to the newspaper, Raphinha’s absence from training was expected and part of the plan set by the technical staff, with expectations indicating that the player’s return will be in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, not in the upcoming match against Mallorca.

The Spanish newspaper also explained that the list of absentees from training included Pedri, Gavi, and Christensen due to injury, while several young players participated in the session, namely Jofre Torrents, Tommy Marques, and Juan Hernandez, alongside the reserve team goalkeeper Emilio Bernad, under the leadership of coach Hans Flick.

The report also indicated that Barcelona will not enter a closed camp before the Mallorca match, as the players will head directly to the Joan Gamper Sports City, then move together by bus to the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, with the match taking place at 5:15 PM Cairo time.
