Potential Deal May Grant Barcelona New Millions Thanks to Vitor Roque

Barcelona may receive unexpected financial gains due to their former striker Vitor Roque, who is currently performing exceptionally well with Palmeiras in Brazil, reigniting European interest in him.

Barcelona sold the Brazilian player in February 2025 for 25.5 million euros, plus variables that could reach up to five million. However, they retained 20% of the rights to his future sale, which could grant them additional profits if he transfers to another club.

According to Brazilian press reports, Chelsea is interested in signing the young striker during the upcoming summer transfer window. The English club is even considering making an offer that could reach around 50 million euros to persuade Palmeiras to let him go.

If the deal is completed at this figure, Barcelona will benefit financially thanks to the resale percentage they hold in the player’s contract, which means the Catalan club will receive a significant portion of the transfer value despite Roque leaving just one year ago.
