Paris Saint-Germain Targets New French Jewel from the Premier League

Paris Saint-Germain continues to work on renewing its lineup to maintain its status as one of the strongest teams in the world, as it has set its sights on young French striker Elie Kroupi, a Bournemouth player, as part of its plan to reclaim the top national talents playing abroad.

According to the ‘Fichajes’ website, the Parisian club’s sports management, led by Luis Campos, has already initiated preliminary contacts to explore the possibility of bringing the French under-21 international back to his homeland, as part of a clear policy aimed at attracting young talents before their market value doubles.

Paris Saint-Germain is looking for an attacking player with vitality, flexibility, and the ability to provide an immediate impact in terms of effectiveness in front of the goal, qualities that the club sees in the 19-year-old striker.

Kroupi’s level has shown remarkable development since his transfer from Lorient to the English league a year ago, where he had an outstanding season with Bournemouth, catching the attention of European market followers as one of the most promising rising talents.

The source explained that the Parisian club is considering financing the deal by offloading some of its current players, primarily Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos, to reduce the wage bill and make room for the new arrival.

Despite the player being under contract until 2030, Paris Saint-Germain’s interest may lead to opening negotiations, especially amid estimates that the deal’s value could exceed 40 million pounds, with interest from other English clubs.
