Neymar Talks About His Retirement Date

The veteran Brazilian star Neymar Junior, player of Santos team, admitted that he might retire from football permanently next December, especially in light of the recurring injuries he has been suffering from for years.

Neymar said in his talk: ‘I don’t know what will happen from now on, and I don’t know anything about next year. December might come and I decide to retire, we will see what my heart decides. I live day by day.’

He added: ‘I wanted to return this season at 100%, and that’s why I preferred to miss some matches and take better care of myself.’

He continued: ‘I know that many people say things that are not true, but they do not know what happens daily and do not understand the details. Santos set up a very good preparation plan and helped me a lot in this aspect.’

He emphasized: ‘Of course I wanted to return to help my team in the best possible way, but I waited a bit to regain my full readiness, without pain, fear, or any obstacle, and I returned very well in the last match.’

He concluded: ‘With intensive training and perseverance, which always push us forward, I will be able to reach my full readiness. This is what I want, and I have told them so.’
