Morocco Most Likely to Host the 2029 Club World Cup

The British newspaper The Guardian revealed that Morocco has become the leading candidate to host the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup, ahead of both Brazil and Spain in the race for hosting.

The newspaper explained that the Moroccan file relies on a comprehensive plan that aligns with the standards of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), which includes preparing at least 12 stadiums distributed across six cities, with more than half of these stadiums having a capacity exceeding 60,000 spectators.

The project is led by the Hassan II Stadium, which is expected to have a capacity of 115,000 seats, making it one of the largest stadiums in the world.

The file also relies on a modern infrastructure that includes an advanced network of roads and transportation, along with hotels and tourist facilities meeting international standards, in addition to what the newspaper described as a high level of stability and organization.

The newspaper considered that the Moroccan bid combines readiness and ambition, putting it in an advanced position to secure the hosting race.
