Moroccan National Team Faces Ecuador and Paraguay in Friendly Matches in Preparation for the World Cup

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation officially announced the scheduling of two friendly matches for the national team as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals, which are set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico next June.

The “Atlas Lions” will play their first match against the Ecuadorian national team on March 27, 2026, at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium in the Spanish capital, Madrid, starting at 9:15 PM.

As for the second match, it will bring together the Moroccan national team and its Paraguayan counterpart on March 31, 2026, at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in the French city of Lens, starting at 8:00 PM.

These two matches are part of the comprehensive preparatory program established by the technical staff, aimed at enhancing the physical and technical readiness of the national players, strengthening the cohesion among them, and testing different tactical options before participating in the global competition.

The Moroccan national team aims to make the most of these two friendly matches in preparation for facing top-tier teams in the upcoming World Cup edition.
