Milan Targets Signing Jesus

The Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, star of English club Arsenal, has caught the interest of Italian club AC Milan in preparation for the upcoming summer transfer window, according to press reports.

Jesus is experiencing a challenging season in the English Premier League, having started in only two matches. This is due to strong competition for attacking positions with the return of both Viktor Gyökeres and Kai Havertz, who are scoring goals, thus reducing the Brazilian forward’s chances of being a regular starter.

Jesus’s contract with Arsenal ends in the summer of 2027. This season, he has played 16 matches across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing one assist. This reflects the need to reassess his role within the team, whether by continuing his limited participation or seeking a new challenge in another league.

Milan hopes to benefit from the experience of the 28-year-old player to strengthen its attacking line and compete for titles in the upcoming season, especially after Jesus demonstrated his ability to make an immediate impact when on the field.
