Marseille Decides to Part Ways with De Zerbi

Many press reports have confirmed that Olympique Marseille has officially decided to part ways with Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi with immediate effect, following direct talks and joint reviews between the two parties.

According to the reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, there are no disagreements between De Zerbi and the French club’s management or between the coach and the players, as the decision was made with mutual consent.

De Zerbi believes that this option is the best for Marseille’s interests at the current stage, a view that has been agreed upon by the club’s management. Marseille is expected to announce details of the next phase and the interim or replacement coaching staff in the near future.

Marseille suffered a heavy defeat in the classic match against Paris Saint-Germain (5-0) on Sunday, in the 21st round of the French league.

Marseille is in fourth place in the French league with 39 points.
