Manchester United Enters Negotiations to Sign Goretzka

Press reports have indicated that Manchester United has begun talks to sign Bayern Munich’s German midfielder Leon Goretzka during the summer of 2026, as part of the English team’s plan to rebuild the midfield and enhance its leadership experience, according to ‘TEAMtalk’.

Goretzka, who is 30 years old, will see his contract with Bayern Munich expire at the end of the season, and he is open to a new experience in the Premier League.

According to the same source, Goretzka is being monitored by major clubs such as Arsenal, West Ham, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus. Experts believe his experience and leadership qualities make him an immediate option for clubs seeking a physically strong midfielder capable of leading the team on the field.

Although Goretzka will be available for free, his expected salary and the length of the contract may make the deal costly for Manchester United, necessitating careful consideration before making a final decision. The English club is also monitoring the future of its player Marcus Rashford, who is on loan to Barcelona, along with several other options that were not contracted during the winter market.

Goretzka remains an attractive option to strengthen Manchester United’s midfield, but success depends on balancing his experience with the contract costs and his career stage to ensure a successful deal without repeating past mistakes.
