Manchester United maintained their winning form in the Premier League with a comfortable victory over Tottenham. Goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Bruno Fernandes proved to be the difference as the Red Devils registered their fourth straight win under Michael Carrick. The interim head coach has enjoyed a dream start to life at Old Trafford and will be pleased with his team after another impressive display.

Tottenham were reduced in numbers before the half-hour mark when Cristian Romero was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Casemiro. United were quick to take advantage, with Mbeumo scoring from a clever corner routine just 10 minutes later. The hosts doubled their lead with just nine minute remaining when Fernandes found the bottom corner with a delightful finish.
