Liverpool, West Ham, Rangers & Co in TM’s UK club followers Cup – who will prevail?

It’s time for the United Kingdom football fans to have their say. At Transfermarkt we have released our very own UK club followers cup on Instagram, beginning with the round of 32 this Wednesday. Included in the competition are the 20 Premier League clubs, the four clubs in the Scottish Premiership with the highest squad market value, and the eight clubs in the Championship with the highest squad market value. So if your club is not included, they need to get their values up!

The teams have then been seeded based on their market values, with the most valuable squad (Manchester City: €1.29 billion) playing the least valuable (Hibernian: €20m) and so on and so forth. To get behind your team and help them make the next round, head to the UK Transfermarkt instagram page: @transfermarkt.co.uk and head to their stories to vote on each match-up. Have your say. Each round, we will reveal who has crashed out and who has made it one step further, as we determine the biggest team in the UK! Will it be Premier League dominance? Can a Scottish team spring a surprise? Or can a Championship club prove their fanbase is massive? The Round of 16 will be played this Friday, February 6.
