Lionel Messi’s autograph trash talk to Inter Miami’s opponent is perfect

Lionel Messi scored a brilliant free kick late in Inter Miami’s Sunday win over Orlando City in MLS action.

That wasn’t the best part of the sequence, though. His trash talk that came next was.

Messi ran toward the Orlando City bench and had a question — he asked them if they wanted an autograph.

The game had not ended. This was his opponent.

And he decided he’d rub it in a bit more that he’d just swung in a perfect goal against them.

Everyone knows all about Messi’s achievements on the pitch. This is some pretty legendary trash talk, too.

It came on yet another brilliant night for Messi.

He has now scored 898 goals as a professional: 672 for Barcelona, 115 for Argentina, 79 for Inter Miami and 32 for PSG.

He has made quite the ruckus after a few of those other goals, too, but this has to go right up there as far as the savage-ness of the moment.
