Leaked Behind-the-Scenes of the Brawl in Real Madrid’s Locker Room

The Spanish journalist Juanfe Sanz revealed exciting behind-the-scenes events that took place in Real Madrid’s locker room during halftime of their match against Levante, in the 20th round of La Liga, in a game later known as the ‘Booing Match.’ This occurred in the context of a difficult phase following the royal club’s unexpected exit against Albacete in the Copa del Rey.

Sanz pointed out that the first half did not go as planned for Real Madrid against Levante, as the team showed a lackluster performance that displeased the fans, who did not hesitate to boo throughout the stadium, directing their criticism at several players.

During the break, tension escalated inside the locker room, as a heated verbal altercation erupted between prominent players in the team, without revealing the identities of those involved.

The source added that one player entered the locker room, demanding that his teammates exert more effort, play with strong character, and shake off the confusion, using a tone likened to a ‘lecture’ aimed at waking the team up.

However, this attempt did not go smoothly, as one of the prominent players stood up and sharply responded, saying, ‘Even if you score goals, you don’t play better than the rest of the team,’ turning the moment into a tense verbal confrontation in which both parties exchanged harsh words.

Sanz explained that some players quickly intervened to contain the situation and calm the atmosphere, confirming that the dispute did not escalate further, but he emphasized that the tension was intense and that what happened reflects the pressure the team was under during that period, especially since the argument was between influential and important players within Real Madrid’s lineup.

It is worth mentioning that reports confirmed that Real Madrid players gathered for a dinner hosted by Vinicius at one of the restaurants owned by the Brazilian star, with the aim of strengthening their bonds in preparation for the crucial stage of the season.
