Kanté Decides His Future with Al-Ittihad and Responds to Fenerbahçe’s Offer

The French star N’Golo Kanté has finalized his official agreement to transfer from the Saudi club Al-Ittihad to the Turkish club Fenerbahçe, in a move that brings the veteran midfielder back to European football once again.

Kanté’s contract with Al-Ittihad ends at the end of the current season, without reaching an agreement for renewal, which has opened the door for his departure after a successful period spent with the team.

The journalist specializing in the transfer market, Florian Plettenberg, revealed that the negotiations between Kanté and Fenerbahçe have reached a final agreement, after negotiations continued over the past period.

Blattenberg indicated that Fenerbahçe also reached a full understanding with Al-Ittihad Club, following a previous verbal agreement with the player, paving the way for the official closure of the deal.

The report clarified that Kante’s transfer value will be around 4 million euros, with his contract with the Turkish club extending until June 2028.

Kanté is expected to undergo a medical examination in the coming days before signing the contracts and the official announcement of the deal by Fenerbahçe.

Kanté played 105 matches for Al-Ittihad, during which he scored 10 goals and made 11 assists, following a notable European career with Caen, Leicester City, and Chelsea.

Winning the 2018 World Cup with the French national team in Russia remains N’Golo Kanté’s most notable achievement, following the victory over Croatia in the final match.
