Juventus Presses to Sign Schlager on a Free Transfer

The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport revealed that Juventus has intensified its efforts to sign Austrian midfielder Konrad Laimer, as the Italian club seeks to strengthen its midfield with experienced and high-quality players in the upcoming period.

Schlager is expected to leave the German club Leipzig at the end of his contract in the summer, thus joining a new club on a free transfer. This makes the deal financially attractive for Juventus, especially given the club’s current policy of seeking low-cost opportunities in the transfer market.

Schlager is considered one of the top midfielders in the German league, known for his physical strength, ability to intercept the ball, and organize play, making him a suitable option to strengthen the Bianconeri’s midfield.

Juventus’ interest in the player comes as part of a plan to rebuild the team and strengthen key positions, amid potential competition from other clubs that might enter the race for the deal.
