Juventus Considers Signing Liverpool Goalkeeper

The newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport” revealed that Juventus is considering the possibility of signing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker as a potential replacement for goalkeeper Di Gregorio after his performance declined during the 2025/2026 season.

According to the report, Di Gregorio faced criticism due to a series of mistakes and unconvincing performances, prompting the Bianconeri management to consider signing a new goalkeeper starting from the 2026/2027 season.

Juventus had previously shown interest in signing Mike Maignan before the latter signed a long-term contract with Milan last January.

Juventus has also been linked with Tottenham goalkeeper Vicario, who is valued at around 25 million euros, as the club seeks to strengthen its goalkeeping position.

The newspaper indicated that Alisson, who is 33 years old, is under contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2027. However, the English club has already signed Giorgi Mamardashvili, who agreed to join in 2024 and actually arrived in the summer of 2025, which could pave the way for the Brazilian goalkeeper’s departure.

The newspaper explained that Alisson approaching his final year in the contract, along with having a ready replacement within Liverpool, might facilitate Juventus’ task if they decide to make an official move. Additionally, there is a previous relationship between the Brazilian goalkeeper and Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti, dating back to their time working together at Roma.
