Inter President Reveals Truth About Simeone’s Approach to Coaching the Team

The president of Inter Milan, Giuseppe Marotta, denied the reports circulating in Spanish media about a prior agreement with Argentine coach Diego Simeone to take over the team’s management next season.

Marotta said in press statements reported by the famous journalist Fabrizio Romano: “The reports from Spain about an agreement reached with Simeone are completely false news.”

He concluded: “The story is completely untrue. We are very happy with our coach, Cristian Chivu.”

The president of Inter confirmed that the club’s management is completely satisfied with the work of the current coach, Cristian Chivu, emphasizing that the club is very pleased with his continued leadership of the technical staff, given the technical stability that the team aims to maintain in the upcoming phase.

It is noted that Inter was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League after losing to Bodo/Glimt 2-1 in the second leg of the playoff qualifying for the round of 16, knowing that Bodo/Glimt also won the first leg 3-1.
