Barcelona wrapped up a 3-0 win over Mallorca on Saturday evening to remain top of the LaLiga table thanks to goals from Robert Lewandowski, and teenagers Lamine Yamal and Marc Bernal (his first goal for the club). El Clásico rivals Real Madrid are just one point behind. It was another exciting attacking display – something football fans have become very accustomed with since German manager Hansi Flick took the reigns in the summer of 2024.
Barca won LaLiga and the Copa del Rey in Flick’s first season in charge, and made it to the Champions League semi-finals. And they certainly did so in entertaining fashion. Since Flick became boss, Barcelona have scored 273 goals in 96 games – averaging an impressive 2.84 goals-per-game. His team play an extremely aggressive high-line and demonstrate high-risk, high-reward football. It can make for a fascinating watch, although sometimes also a nervy one for the Barcelona faithful. Let’s take a look at how Barca’s goal tally compares to the rest of Europe’s elite since Flick arrived in Catalonia.
The most goals scored since 2024/25
To no the consternation of their rivals, Barca take top spot with their 273 goals. They are six goals ahead of second-placed Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have scored 267 goals since the start of the 2024/25 season. Eclipsing Bayern is quite the feat for Flick given their dominance over the Bundesliga. In third position are the Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain, who have scored 246 goals in all competitions since Flick went to Barcelona. LaLiga rivals Real Madrid take fourth, having scored 229 goals.

The first Premier League team on the list are Manchester City, who take fourth with 218 goals scored. Club World Cup winners Chelsea are fifth with 215 goals. They are followed by Serie A’s Inter Milan in seventh with 199 goals. Premier League leaders Arsenal are eighth with 197 goals, whilst Premier League holders Liverpool take ninth with 191 goals. Borussia Dortmund complete the top 10 with 179 goals.
