For the Second Time.. Moroccan Federation Officially Denies Departure of Walid Regragui

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation issued an official statement today completely denying the recent rumors about parting ways with the national team coach, Mr. Walid Regragui.

Some reports have mentioned the possibility of Spanish Xavi Hernandez, former coach and player of Barcelona, being chosen to succeed Regragui in coaching the Atlas Lions.

The federation confirmed in its statement that these reports are baseless, emphasizing that the coach continues to perform his duties normally according to the scheduled program, and that no official resignation has been received from him.

This is the second time the federation has had to officially intervene to issue a clarifying statement aimed at refuting rumors concerning Walid Regragui’s future, in response to a wave of media reports that have recently circulated about his departure.
