After Crystal Palace were stunned by sixth-tier Macclesfield in arguably the biggest upset in FA Cup history back in the fourth round, Macclesfield are set for another Premier League test as they meet Brentford with the final fifth-round place on the line.
That game would have completed the fifth-round participants if Port Vale’s tie against Bristol City had not been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and rearranged for March 3.
Wrexham are on the charge after defeating Nottingham Forest in a penalty shootout in the third round, and then downing fellow Championship side Ipswich Town in the fourth round.
Top-flight giants Tottenham and Man United fell in the third round, while Aston Villa and Brighton also found themselves on the outside looking after respective defeats to Premier League counterparts Newcastle United and Liverpool.
League One Mansfield Town secured the biggest round four upset when they came from behind to beat Premier League strugglers Burnley 2-1.

FA Cup fifth round draw results
The draw will take place on Monday, February 16, shortly before the fourth-round game between Macclesfield and Brentford at Leasing.com Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. local time (2:30 p.m. ET)
The ties take place from March 6 to March 9, 2026.
