Dortmund Excludes Any New Signings Before Transfer Window Closes

Sebastian Kehl, the sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, announced the exclusion of signing any new players before the end of the winter transfer window, affirming that the club has confidence in the current players.

In his statements to Sky Sport Germany, Kehl said: “After internal discussions, we have decided that there will be no further moves in any position, and no new players will be added to Borussia Dortmund.”

He added that the decision came after a thorough study of the team’s needs and ensuring that the current lineup is capable of competing in various tournaments during the second half of the season.

Thus, Dortmund continues to rely on the players already present without adding any new elements during the winter transfer window, amidst the team’s ambitions in the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.
