Atletico Madrid Sweeps Club Brugge and Advances to Champions League Round of 16

Atletico Madrid secured a significant victory over Club Brugge with a 4-1 win in the second leg of the playoff qualifying for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

The first leg ended in a 3-3 draw, allowing the Rojiblancos to advance to the round of 16 with a 7-4 aggregate score.

Alexander Sørloth scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute, while Club Brugge equalized through Joel Ordonez in the 37th minute.

In the 48th minute, Atlético Madrid scored a second goal through Johnny Cardoso, and then Alexander Sørloth scored two goals for Atlético in the 76th and 87th minutes.
