Arsenal Joins Clubs Interested in Signing Goretzka

According to the German newspaper “Bild,” Goretzka was close to transferring to Atlético Madrid recently, but he preferred not to push for a move at the moment, opting instead to fulfill his contract with Bayern Munich until June.
The German player aims with this decision to enter the transfer market as a free agent, allowing him the freedom to choose his next destination without financial constraints, while continuing to compete at the highest level during the remaining months with the Bavarian team.
Reports indicated that Arsenal is one of the most interested clubs in signing Goretzka, as the English club considers him a primary target to strengthen their midfield. This aligns with the player’s desire to embark on a new experience in the English Premier League, which is his preferred choice for the next stage.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich realizes that it is unlikely for Goretzka to stay beyond next summer, while Atletico Madrid is monitoring the developments without intending to engage in financial bidding, making the Premier League the most likely destination for the German midfielder.
