Al Ahly Seeks Amicable Solution for Dari’s Issue

After his name was removed from the list, Achraf Dari became a free agent eligible to sign with any club. However, Al Ahly’s management prefers to resolve the matter amicably, given the ongoing contract between the two parties.
Reports revealed that the club reached a legal agreement with the player to avoid any future disputes, clarifying that Dari still receives his monthly financial dues regularly, despite being excluded from the team’s official roster.
The source indicated that the legal advisor of Al Ahly’s football company, Dr. Abdullah Shehata, confirmed the club’s legal position, emphasizing the player’s right to consider offers made to him or to leave, with the exclusion of resorting to FIFA, given Al Ahly’s commitment to paying his dues on time.
The source concluded his statements by confirming that one of the player agents entered negotiations in the past hours, aiming to bridge differences and reach an amicable settlement that allows the player to move to a new team, with Al Ahly’s management insisting on this option, especially as his monthly salary continues to be paid regularly.
Al Ahly signed Achraf Dari from French club Brest in the summer of 2024 on a four-year contract, with an annual fee of $800,000, making his remaining dues close to two million dollars if the contract is terminated by mutual consent.
