Al-Ittihad Approaches Signing Portuguese Offensive Talent

The Saudi club Al-Ittihad has made significant progress in strengthening its forward line after reaching an agreement with the Portuguese club Famalicão to sign the young player Gustavo Sa during the current winter transfer window.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Al-Ittihad succeeded in reaching a verbal agreement with the management of Famalicão, paving the way for the official completion of Gustavo Sá’s transfer deal.

Romano explained on his account on the “X” platform that the Jeddah club is preparing to complete the official procedures following the preliminary agreement, without revealing the financial value of the contract so far.

Gustavo Sá, aged 21, is considered one of the most promising talents in the Portuguese league. He excels in the attacking midfield position, and his market value is estimated at 16 million euros.

The Portuguese player participated with Famalicão in 22 matches during the current season, during which he managed to score 4 goals and provide one assist.

The union’s move to include Gustavo Sa is part of the management’s plan to support the team with young elements capable of contributing to the technical project in the medium and long term.

The club’s management aims to continue strengthening the team’s lineup during the winter transfer window, as part of the strong competition for local and continental championships.
