Al-Ittihad Nears Acquisition of Monaco Talent

The “Foot Mercato” website revealed that Al-Ittihad succeeded in reaching an agreement with Monaco regarding the transfer of Elneny for an amount reaching 33 million euros.
The contract of the 19-year-old Nigerian forward with AS Monaco extends until 2029, but he is close to leaving the French league to embark on a new experience in the Saudi league.
The report indicated that the deal has not been finalized yet, as negotiations between the club and the player are ongoing regarding the contract terms, both financially and in relation to the sports project.
George Elenikhina is expected to join the ranks of Al-Ittihad as a homegrown player, as part of the club’s plan to strengthen the front line with young and promising talents.
The name of the Nigerian striker has recently been linked with several European clubs, most notably French club Lille, Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Bayer Leverkusen.
Ilenikhena participated with the Monaco team in 20 matches during the current season across various competitions and managed to score 4 goals, according to data from the “Transfermarkt” website.
