Champions League draw CONFIRMED – play-off round ties revealed for Real Madrid, Newcastle & Co.

The final matchday of the Champions League league phase certainly lived up to expectations during a thrilling night of football on Wednesday evening. There were as many as 18 matches being played simultaneously, with the table taking many different shapes across the 90 minutes of action. Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting and Man City all finished in the top eight and confirmed their places in the round of 16. While some big teams are into the play-offs, with the draw being made from 11am GMT this Friday. You can see it below!

Going into the draw each club has two potential opponents in the play-off round, ranked on where they finished between ninth and 24th in the league phase table. The draw is as follows: We will reveal the exact ties as they come in! Former Arsenal and France winger Robert Pires is doing the draw.
