Ted Lasso season 4 release date gets major coming back update from Apple TV

Ted Lasso is ready to take the pitch once again.

The popular Apple TV series starring Jason Sudeikis as an American-turned-English-soccer-coach already has three seasons in the books, and now Season 4 is on the way.

On Wednesday, Apple TV posted on social media that the show is indeed coming back this summer.

It’s exciting news for fans of his fictional Richmond club that has battled its way through the English football pyramid.

The intrigue of the social media post, though, appears to be the photograph in the bottom left, which seems to show the Ted Lasso character (played by Sudeikis) at some sort of tryout for a women’s team. That’s not something that has been an element of the show before.

Regardless, it’s a beloved series by its many fans.

The show has been full of quotes that fans adore, like:

• “Be curious, not judgmental.”
• “You know what the happiest animal on Earth is? It’s a goldfish.”
• “I’m me, why would I want to be anything else?”

There hasn’t been a specific release date set yet, but that will surely come as the teased summer launch gets closer.
