Dominik Szoboszlai and Pedro Porro among tempting transfer targets for Gameweek 21

DREAM TEAM managers have until 11am on Saturday morning to confirm their transfers for Gameweek 21.

This coming Gameweek mirrors the current one in that the eight teams involved in either the Champions League or Europa League will play twice.

Most of the double headers look mighty inviting on paper and so, with that in mind, allow us to put forward some tempting transfer targets.

Dominik Szoboszlai (£4.9m)

Liverpool’s No8 banked 14 points in Gameweek 20 but should have pouched 20+ as he crashed his penalty off the bar against Burnley last weekend.

He made amends with a clever free-kick slotted under a jumping wall at Marseille on Wednesday night for his seventh goal of the season.

Szoboszlai ranks fourth among midfielders heading into Gameweek 21, just ten points adrift of leader Phil Foden (£5.2m).

GONE COLD

When should Dream Team managers start worrying about Erling Haaland?

The Hungary international has earned 30 bonus points to date, the fifth-highest tally among players in his position.

Arne Slot’s troops will travel to Bournemouth this weekend before they host Qarabag in their final league phase fixture of this season’s Champions League campaign.

This has to be considered a favourable double header given the Cherries have slipped to 15th in the Premier League table having won just one of their last 13 games in the top flight.

Florian Wirtz (£5.8m), Hugo Ekitike (£4.8m) and Jeremie Frimpong (£4.8m) are also good options.

Many Dream Team bosses will shake their heads at the thought of needing Tottenham to succeed but the Spanish right-back tends to thrive regardless of what’s happening around him.

In fact, Jurrien Timber (£4.3m) is the only defender with more points to his name at the time of writing.

Porro is yet to score this season but he excels in all other aspects — check out his stats in relation to his position:

  • 13 clean sheets (2nd)
  • 5 assists (3rd)
  • 7 big chances created (1st)
  • 61 tackles (5th)
  • 24 bonus points (5th)

Spurs have glaring weaknesses but it would reasonable to expect healthy returns from Porro against Burnley (a) and Eintracht Frankfurt (a) — Thomas Frank’s side have generally performed much better away from home this season.

It’s also worth noting that Cristian Romero (£3.7m) added 22 points to his tally in Gameweek 20 via two goals and a clean sheet.

Nottingham Forest’s left-back is an underrated Dream Team asset.

His surface stats of one goal, assist and six clean sheets are nothing to shout about but dig a little deeper and he starts to shine.

No defender has made more tackles (80) than the Wales international in 2025/26.

He’s also registered 16 shots on target, by far the most among his peers — Daniel Munoz (£5.9m) is the other other defender into double figures.

Furthermore, Williams has collected 32 bonus points, a tally only bettered by Lewis Hall (£4.1m) and Ezri Konsa (£3.8m).

Sean Dyche’s men face Braga this evening before their last Europa League fixture of the league phase at home to Ferencvaros next Thursday.

Williams and company are also due to visit Brentford this Sunday.

Elliot Anderson (£3.9m), another tackle machine and keen bonus point hoarder, remains a solid selection whenever Forest pull double duty.

There’s no need to waste time recommending Arsenal’s top performers at this stage but gaffers looking for a potential difference-maker should consider the Gunners’ No9.

He is unlikely to start both fixtures in Gameweek 21 but should get 100+ minutes out of Manchester United (h) and Kairat (h).

Jesus bagged a brace against Inter on Tuesday night and if Mikel Arteta gives him the nod for next week’s Champions League game against the worst team in the competition then he could feast.

Looking further ahead, Arsenal are one of only four teams set to play twice in Gameweek 22: Leeds (a) and Chelsea (h).

Jesus features in just 1.2% of teams at present but there’s a sense he’s not all that far away from becoming the league leaders’ first-choice striker, an ascension that has the potential to send his ownership into orbit.
