Ultras storm training session and confront squad after three players accused of sexual assault on eve of Messi clash

FAN ultras of Alianza Lima stormed the training pitch and confronted the squad on the eve of a game against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
The Peruvian giants partake in a tradition called the Noche Blanquiazul, which is the annual presentation of the playing squad and marks the introduction of new players to the team.
However, this year, just days before they are due to host David Beckham‘s Major League Soccer franchise as part of Inter’s tour of South America, chaos has reigned at the club.
Three players: Carlos Zambrano, Miguel Trauco, and Sergio Peña, were hit by sexual assault allegations by a 23-year-old Argentinian woman.
As reported by ESPN, the alleged incident took place in Montevideo, Uruguay, during Alianza Lima’s preseason training as the club competed in Río de la Plata Series.
The trio of stars have been indefinitely suspended by the club during the investigations.

But during a training session in Matute, angry Lima fans stormed the pitch to confront the players about the situation at around 2pm.
A number of fans were seen on video moving through gate 15 at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium, which is usually reserved for media access.
Fans were seen chasing players around the pitch before confronting them and having stern words.
Argentine newspaper Infobae reported there were also physical assaults during the tense exchanges.
ESPN reporter Leonardo Bertozzi reported Paolo Guerrero and the newly arrived Luis Advíncula were among those who were allegedly attacked.
Former Bayern Munich star Guerrero, 42, is said to have been seen looking sombre as he spoke to a member of club staff in the car park.
After the session the players left the venue in their private vehicles and refused to speak to media.
One of the club’s fan ultra groups, known as the Comando Sur, released a statement on social media expressing their anger at the situation which had brought dishonour towards the La Victoria crest.
The statement said: “The South Command will not tolerate indiscipline, regardless of its source, even if it’s endorsed by the first team’s security.
“They’ve never respected the jersey and think Alianza is just a place to hang out and collect bonuses for something their salaries demand: RESULTS.
“Players like this don’t represent us, and we don’t want them at the club.”
Alianza Lima have been approached for comment.
Inter Miami are due to take on Lima on Saturday, before a second game against Atlético Nacional on January 31.
They end their pre-season tour on February 8 against Barcelona SC before their MLS opener against LAFC on February 22.
