England legend calls Cristiano Ronaldo a ‘bastard’
England legend Rio Ferdinand, former Manchester United player, was surprised by the statements of his former teammate and current captain of Saudi club Al-Nasr, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
This came during interviews conducted by Ronaldo with athletes when discussing football legends. Ronaldo indicated that his current goal is to reach goal number (900), followed by striving for goal number 1000 in his professional career, stressing the need to document all these goals through video clips.
On the other hand, Ferdinand, who described Ronaldo as a “scoundrel”, considered that the statements were indirectly referring to football legends such as Pele, Di Stefano and a number of others who achieved great achievements but not all of their goals were officially documented on video. It is worth noting that Pele has an amazing achievement of scoring 1281 goals during his sports career, which made him top the Guinness Book of Records list as the player with the most goals in the history of football.
