Juventus working hard to complete the deal for Manchester United star
With just a week to go until the summer transfer window closes, Juventus are continuing to work hard to land one of Manchester United’s biggest stars
According to sources from the British network “CaughtOffside”, talks are underway with Manchester United to find a solution regarding a possible transfer formula for English star “Jadon Sancho”, the United player, with the English club demanding around 40 million pounds for the player’s services, while the Bianconeri are pressing for a loan
The sources have learned that the possibility of including a mandatory purchase clause is currently under discussion, but Juventus will not accept this option unless there is a deferral of payment for at least four years, which is too much for Manchester United, who are demanding the exorbitant loan fee immediately, in addition to having a large part of the Sancho purchase clause in their account at the end of the season, and it seems that the other current point of contention is the player’s salary
Juventus have completely ruled out paying 100% of what Sancho currently earns (£250,000) a week but it is understood that discussions are also ongoing on this aspect, and the player is unhappy with the reduction in his hypothetical salary and has asked United to pay the remaining part of his wages. Given these difficulties, Juventus are also exploring other names on their list for a potential new winger, and the difference in payment terms faced by United appears to have increased the chances of a positive conclusion to the Nico Gonzalez transfer, with Fiorentina more willing to accept the deferred payment
