New Decisions from Al-Ahly Management to Regulate Team Conditions

It was decided to deduct 30% from the salaries of the first team players and temporarily suspend 25% of their contract values until the team’s position in competing for the Egyptian Premier League and the African Champions League is determined, in a step aimed at motivating the players and raising the level of focus within the team.
It was also decided to bring forward the departure of the Al-Ahly delegation to Tunisia to face ES Tunis in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals, with the delegation leaving Cairo airport the day after tomorrow, Thursday, instead of Friday, to allow more time for the technical staff to prepare for the anticipated match.
In a related context, El-Khatib assigned his deputy Yassin Mansour and board member Sayed Abdel Hafeez to start an urgent and comprehensive evaluation of the football sector, including the administrative, technical, medical, and administrative departments, in addition to restructuring the sector at the level of the first team, the youth sector, women’s football, and academies, in line with the club’s ambitions and its fans during the upcoming phase.
