Neymar Faces Legal Complaints from His Chef

A former chef who worked for Brazilian football star Neymar has filed a lawsuit against him at the Regional Labor Court in Rio de Janeiro, accusing him of forcing her to work long hours at his home in Mangaratiba, Brazil.

According to the complaint, the chef worked with Neymar between July 2025 and February 2026 and was subjected to what she described as harsh working conditions. She stated that she sometimes worked 14 to 16 hours a day, including weekends, to prepare meals for up to 150 people at the player’s home.

The chef added that the work pressure caused her physical health issues such as back pain and hip inflammation, due to carrying heavy pieces of meat and standing for long periods without a break.

The chef is demanding compensation of 262,000 Brazilian reals (approximately 43,000 euros) for unpaid overtime, medical expenses, severance pay, and moral damages. Meanwhile, Neymar’s representatives have not yet issued any official response to these allegations.
