Liverpool and Manchester United Monitor Juventus Defender

The Italian newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport” reported that French defender Pierre Kalulu has attracted significant interest from Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester United, following his impressive performances this season with his team Juventus.

Kalulu regularly participated with Juventus under the leadership of both Igor Tudor and Luciano Spalletti, where he played the first part of the season mostly as a right-back, before transitioning under Spalletti’s supervision to a central defender in a three-man line or as a right-back in a four-man line.

Kalulu contributed by scoring two goals and providing six assists in 38 matches across all competitions, confirming his effective role on both the defensive and offensive sides. The player is 25 years old and has renewed his contract with Juventus until 2029.

In the same context, Juventus is looking to strengthen its midfield for the next season of the Premier League, with both Sandro Tonali and Bernardo Silva among the team’s main targets for the 2026/2027 season.
