Milan Places Guirassy at the Top of Its Offensive Priorities for Next Season

The newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that AC Milan’s management has started early in outlining the transfer market for the 2026-2027 season, prioritizing strengthening the front line.

The Rossoneri management is waiting to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League before making a strong move to finalize a deal for an international-class striker to lead the sports project in the upcoming phase.

The club faced a setback in its transfer dealings after the deal for striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, a Crystal Palace player, fell through due to physical issues that emerged during medical examinations, leading to the cancellation of the agreement between the two parties.

The name of the Guinean international, Serhou Guirassy, a Borussia Dortmund forward, tops the list of options on AC Milan’s table. Guirassy is distinguished by his ability to play the role of a complete attacking pivot, thanks to his physical strength and skill in ball protection, in addition to his consistent goal-scoring record, which has surpassed ten goals in several seasons.

Guerasi has a release clause estimated at around 70 million euros, and his approaching the age of thirty makes him a short-term option. However, AC Milan’s management is betting on the player’s desire to embark on a new experience in the Italian league to reach a suitable financial agreement that gives the club an advantage in negotiations.
