We Expected to Face Real Madrid, and We Will Try to Win the Title

Hugo Viana, the sporting director of Manchester City, spoke to “beIN Sports” following the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, which pitted them against Real Madrid in a classic encounter.

He added, “Both teams will be ready for this match.”

He continued: “Who will be the candidate to qualify? There is no favorite in such matches, in such competition, and in such a situation. We do not think about who will be favored.”

He concluded: “Are Real Madrid and Manchester City aiming to win the Champions League title? Yes, but we know the difficulty of the competition.
