No Return to Barcelona as a Player

Spanish press reports today, citing sources close to the Argentine star Lionel Messi, confirmed that “the Flea” informed potential candidates for the presidency of Barcelona club of his final decision not to return to the team as a player again.
This move by Messi came to prevent the use of his name in the election campaigns for the club’s elections scheduled for mid-March.
Catalonia Radio Network explained that Messi, who currently plays for Inter Miami in the American league, believes that his era in European football has completely come to an end.
Despite his refusal to return as a player, Messi has not ruled out the possibility of returning to “Blaugrana” in the future to take on an administrative or advisory role, affirming in previous statements his desire to help the club where he spent most of his football career.
