Neuer Nears Return to Action with Bayern Munich

Neuer has been absent from the field for ten days due to an injury in his left calf muscle, and a precise date for his official return to matches has not yet been determined. However, the German newspaper ‘Bild’ reported that the veteran goalkeeper conducted his first individual training session since his injury this Monday morning, in a preliminary step towards gradually joining group training.
The coaching staff is set to increase Neuer’s training volume in the coming days, while no official decision has been made regarding his participation in the anticipated match against traditional rivals Borussia Dortmund, scheduled for next Saturday in the Bundesliga.
It is noteworthy that Neuer missed Bayern Munich’s match against Eintracht Frankfurt, which ended with a 3-2 victory for the Bavarian team at home.
Neuer is considered a key player in Bayern Munich’s ranks, having played 28 matches this season across various competitions, conceding 27 goals, reaffirming his continued importance as a mainstay in the team’s lineup.
