Alaba’s contract ends at the end of the current season, and Real Madrid has decided not to enter into renewal negotiations, which means the Austrian defender will leave for free once the season concludes, closing an important chapter of his career in the Spanish capital.

The 33-year-old Alaba joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2021 in a free transfer from Bayern Munich, and he played 126 matches with Real Madrid, scoring 5 goals and assisting 8.
