The Appearance Date of Hamza Abdel Karim with Barcelona Remains Unspecified

The Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo revealed that the young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim has not yet received a specific date for his debut with Barcelona, due to ongoing procedures related to his work permit, a bureaucratic process whose duration cannot be predicted.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the 18-year-old player has already started training with Barcelona Athletic under coach Juliano Belletti, leaving a positive impression during the training sessions. However, his official participation will remain pending until all necessary legal procedures are completed.

The report pointed out that Barcelona had previously faced similar situations with African players like Mamadou Mbaki and Mikael Fay, whose appearances were delayed due to issues related to documents and work permits, making Abdel Karim’s case normal within the context of the club’s international signings.

The newspaper confirmed that the player is considered an important option to strengthen the attacking line of the reserve team, especially given the injuries affecting the forward position.
