Real Madrid Prioritizes Midfield in Summer

Real Madrid is heavily focusing on strengthening their midfield during the summer transfer window of 2026, considering that rebuilding this area represents the most challenging and important task in preparation for the upcoming season, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The management of the Royal Club believes that the midfield needs fresh blood to maintain the team’s competitive strength both locally and in Europe, especially with the expected changes in the lineup in the coming years. This makes this issue a top priority within the halls of Santiago Bernabéu.

In this context, the Portuguese player Vitinha is highly valued by Real Madrid, just as he is admired by most major clubs around the world, due to his high technical level and his ability to control the rhythm of the game.

However, according to Romano, Vitinha’s transfer seems almost impossible at the moment, as Paris Saint-Germain has given him a long-term contract with a high salary, and he is completely settled in the Parisian team, which is not considering selling him at all right now.
