Montella Compares Yildiz to Juventus Legend Del Piero

Vincenzo Montella, the coach of the Turkish national team, believes there are similarities between the young star Kenan Yildiz and Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, particularly in their shooting technique and finishing attacks.

He confirmed that Yildiz has already scored goals very similar to those scored by Del Piero, especially from difficult angles and at the edge of the penalty area.

However, the well-known Italian coach clarified that the comparison remains partial, pointing out that the general characteristics of each player are different.

Kenan Yildiz is considered one of the most prominent rising Turkish talents in Europe. He plays with a direct and fast attacking style, with great ability to dribble and shoot with his right foot from outside the area, which leads some to associate him with the famous “Del Piero signature” style.

Nevertheless, Del Piero remains a historical icon for Juventus and Italian football, while Yildiz is still at the beginning of his journey and needs years of consistency and achievements to approach the status of the legend. However, the comparison gives him a significant morale boost and additional confidence in his career.
