The Team Has Become More Mature and Developed, and This is Our Goal

Christian Chivu, the coach of Inter Milan, expressed his satisfaction after the big 5-0 victory over Sassuolo in the 24th round of the Italian League, emphasizing that the team still has much to achieve perfection, and the focus now is on maintaining balance and maturity on the field.

Chivu said: “We understood the phase we are going through, we suffered from the intensity of the opponent’s pressure, and when they had possession, they attacked us directly. We scored the goal at the right time from the corner, then our solidity became an important factor in how we managed the match.”

Chivu continued: “It seems that this team has become more mature now in how to accept and adapt to certain moments of the match. We cannot forget where we came from, and we should not fear anything, but we must be aware that we are still capable of improvement, there is no perfection.”

When asked about the possibility of Inter winning the league title this season, Chivu said: “For me, zero, there are still fourteen matches to play, the theory still needs work, and our goal is to remain competitive in the league.”

He also pointed to the upcoming match against Juventus, saying: “It’s a match like any other, expectations are always high, but I want the team to maintain its maturity and awareness. This is our first week with four consecutive training sessions, and we are looking at how to present ourselves for that match.”
