Final Diagnosis of Mahmoud Trezeguet’s Injury

The medical team of Al-Ahly club announced the final diagnosis of the injury of Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the team’s star.

The player sustained an injury during the match against JS Kabylie last Saturday in the African Champions League, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah confirmed that the results of the scans Trezeguet underwent revealed a first-degree strain in the lower part of the hamstring muscle.

The team’s doctor reassured the fans that the injury is in its early stages, which increases the chances of the player returning quickly to the field if he adheres to the treatment program.

Trezeguet will begin his recovery journey by implementing the rehabilitation and physiotherapy program starting tomorrow, Monday.

Al-Ahly has secured qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
